With more unique and extensive sculptures, bars, and entertainment, this second year of Ice Fest is gearing up to be an event not to be missed. Last year, we had over 2,500 who people braved the elements to enjoy the three-day weekend extravaganza, being held again in Fountain Park adjacent to the Bates Mill. The first two nights (Friday and Saturday, February 21st – 22nd 5-9 p.m.), are 21+ events (ID required at the door) and will feature frosty beverages from five ice bars, creative ice sculptures, and food samples from a variety of local restaurants. Additional features include live ice sculpture demonstrations and performances from the fire spinners, all for just $10 admission ticket prior to the event, and $15 at the door. This year, we are limiting the number of tickets sold, because we are expecting them to sell quickly, Please make sure you get your tickets now, because they are going to go quickly.

The final day (Sunday, February 23rd 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.) is a free family day event, and will consist of ice sculpting demonstrations and live art performances, games and activities for children, and both cold and hot treats. Thanks to the generosity of Platz Associates, keep the kids warm inside the Bates Mill Atrium, where they can enjoy hot cocoa and other sweet treats, and live music and interactive music and theater. Outside in Fountain Park, marvel at over a dozen ice sculptures, watch talented carvers erect new pieces on the spot, and keep the children moving with engaging activities and games.
