Sadie’s Fiber Arts: Story Quilts
Join us on Wednesday, March 20th at 3:30pm for Sadie’s Fiber Arts Club at the Lewiston Public Library.
For our March 20th project, Sadie’s Fiber Arts Club will be making story quilts! This project celebrates National Women’s History Month and the power of storytelling through fiber art inspired by artist Faith Ringgold’s story quilts. We will be creating our own mini quilts using fabric pieces, paint, fabric glue, and stitching elements. All materials will be provided. Come and let your art tell your story!
Sadie’s Fiber Arts Club takes place every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 3:30pm in the Children’s Department. This program is free, all supplies will be provided, and there is no registration. Recommended for ages 6 – 12.
