One-Day Workshop with Painter Marsha Donahue at LA Arts

Tired of Winter Gray?  Let’s Talk Color!

One-Day Workshop at LA Arts

Marsha Donahue, Instructor

Saturday, February 8, 2020, 9-4

Can’t afford a cruise?  Come dispel the winter blahs with a workshop about color for a day, taught by Marsha Donahue whose work is on view at LA Arts Gallery until March 1.

Through exercises we will explore color using whatever water media you are familiar with; watercolor, gouache or acrylic.  You are responsible for some supplies which should include a big brush and paints, paper towels, large plastic open-mouthed container to hold water, such as a peanut butter jar.  The rest will be provided. Bring stories of when you were first struck by color as a child to share. Bring photographs that are colorful that you might like to paint. Bring your lunch.

We will start at 9 a.m. and take a half hour at noon for lunch, resuming at 12:30 and finishing at 4 p.m.  The cost for the day is $165 and we must have six people to run the workshop. Email contact@laarts.org or call Marsha with questions at (207)723-4414.

Fill out the registration form below and send to Marsha Donahue, North Light Gallery, 256 Penobscot Ave, Millinocket, ME 04462.  Deadline to register is January 20, 2020.  Please enclose half and pay balance at arrival.
