Great Falls Forum with Regina Mullins-Greenlee

The 2019-2020 season of the Great Falls Forum continues on Thursday, December 12th, featuring Regina Mullins-Greenlee, with a talk entitled “Finding My Way Home.” The program will take place from 12 noon to 1 PM in Callahan Hall at the Lewiston Public Library.

Regina Mullins-Greenlee is a 23-year survivor of addiction, prostitution, and human trafficking. In 1997, she left prison and began a new life in a program in Nashville, Tennessee, founded by an Episcopal Chaplain, the Rev. Becca Stevens. She was welcomed with four other women into the first residential community in what came to be called Magdelene, with its small social enterprise, Thistle Farms. There are now six houses in Nashville and Thistle Farms products are sold nationwide, including at Whole Foods.

As one of the founding women, Regina helped identify and create many of the unique distinctions of the program. After graduating, her natural leadership abilities moved her into a position with the Residential/Clinical team, where she served as Residential Manager for 18 years. In this role, Regina directly impacted hundreds of women through peer counseling and her recovery leadership.

In her Great Falls Forum talk, Regina will share her story and the journey that led to her work with Thistle Farms.
