Great Falls Forum with Gerry Boyle

For 30 years, Maine novelist Gerry Boyle has been inventing crimes and criminals, then solving these mysteries through the efforts of his fictional investigators, particularly reporter Jack McMorrow. What drives an otherwise law-abiding writer to seek out the company of murderers and other miscreants? And what drives otherwise law-abiding readers to do the same? In his Great Falls Forum talk, Boyle will explore our attraction to those who break the rules, and our need to see justice, fictional as it may be.
