ArtBar is a regularly scheduled fund-and-friend raiser! It brings people together at local establishments, where participants create a piece of art following a theme and project determined by ArtVan.
Each month the ArtVan team decides on a theme – typically seasonally based, and pairs that theme with an art project. All materials are provided as well as lite bites. Absolutely no art talent is needed to join. ArtBars follow a similar outline to actual programming where ArtVan staff leads the group in a “check-in” question such as “what’s something you love about yourself?” or “if you could transform into anything, what would it be?” etc. They speak on the program and then it’s off to creating!
