“Dastak: I Wish You Me” by Ananya Dance Theatre
Bates Dance Festival presents “Dastak: I Wish You Me” by Ananya Dance Theatre on Monday, November 7th at 7:30PM at Schaeffer Theatre (305 College Street). Dastak is a meditation on borders, loss, belonging, home and liberation by renowned choreographer, Ananya Chatterjea. Structured through four elemental journeys of Earth, Water, Fire, and Air, Dastak invites viewers to imagine what freedom is possible as it expands the realms of intention and trans-dimensional connection through spells that invoke rest, forgiveness, love, and freedom.
