Bates Film Festival
The Bates Film Festival is a collaborative experience between Bates College undergraduates and the College’s faculty, staff, alumni/ae, parents, and friends. Students are involved in every aspect of the festival’s organization, planning, and execution. Together, we foster an appreciation for the artistry of screen media and present work that cultivates productive discussions of topical social and political issues.
25 nationally and internationally recognized titles will be screened over the next 5 days, and 10 filmmakers and artivists will participate. All events are free and open to the public. Feature-length films will be captioned if the copy we receive includes them.
