Medium: Fused glass

Tell us about your work: 

Many of my ideas for fusing glass come from photos of places I’ve been. I also use my imagination when I see images in the colors and swirls in the glass.  I love to envision what the glass may become and use that to inspire my direction.  Much of my inspiration comes from nature in the land, rocks, leaves, trees, and water.  Firing the glass in the kiln brings along the element of surprise as the glass melts and sometimes shifts creating a new perspective of the subject.
