DESCRIPTION:Flap Your Wings in the Children’s Department!\nOn Wednesday, August 20th at 11:30am the Lewiston Public Library Children’s Department will be offering the program Design Your Own Wearable Monarch Wings! \n\nKids will be provided with materials to design their own patterns of monarch butterfly wings using black markers on orange fabric. Once they have completed their designs the participants will be able to wear their wings.\n\nThis program is recommended for kids ages 2-12. Siblings are also welcome to attend. Children under the age of 8 must be supervised by a caregiver.\n\nThis activity will take place at the back tables in the Children’s Department on the third floor of the library.\n\nThis program is free, and no registration is required. All materials will be provided.\n\nThe Lewiston Public Library is located downtown at 200 Lisbon Street at the corner of Pine Street.\nMore information is available by contacting the Lewiston Public Library at (207) 513-3133 or LPLKids@lewistonmaine.gov.\n
