The exhibition highlights work from the Craft Apprentice Program (CAP), a seven-month statewide mentoring program founded in 2016 for contemporary craft practitioners.

Interactive installation art will kick off September 30’s Art Walk LA

Begin this last Friday Art Walk LA at 4:00 PM with Maine installation artist Amy Stacey Curtis’s MEMORY at the Bates Mill Complex (35 Canal Street; enter Atrium doors under clock tower and take elevator to 4th floor; please don’t park in Bates lot). It takes 45-60 minutes to become part of her nine large-scale interactive works before she closes her doors for the day at 5:00 PM.

Dozens of artists and a batch of new activities highlight this month’s event. Rent a bike from Rainbow Bicycle so you can easily enjoy exhibits and events on both sides of the river!

Rent a bike at Art Walk – July through September

Art Walk LA this July through September, make traveling between Lewiston and Auburn just a little bit easier by renting a bike!

Rainbow Bicycle (97 Lisbon Street, Lewiston) will be renting out bikes during the event. In order to rent a bike, you will need to provide an ID and pay with a credit card. Bikes can be picked up and paid for at Rainbow Bicycle at 5 p.m. and dropped back off at Rainbow Bicycle at 7:45, before they close at 8 p.m. A bike helmet and bike lock will be included in the $10 cost for renting the bike.
