“Art & Ale” window exhibit at Gritty McDuff’s Brew Pub

“Art & Ale is a place for local artists to exhibit their works, through the auspices of L/A Arts and Gritty McDuff’s Brew Pub. Check out the corner window at 68 Main St. in Auburn, to the left of the pub entrance to see a great selection of art.”

Atrium Art Gallery

University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn Campus
“The Atrium Art Gallery, located at USM’s Lewiston-Auburn Campus, presents a year-round schedule of exhibitions highlighting Maine artists with solo and group exhibitions of painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, and contemporary crafts. A biennial exhibit, Area Artists, in an open-juried format, features work by artists in Androscoggin, Franklin, and Oxford counties.
Other regular exhibits include The Figure Revealed, with work from life drawing groups around the state. The Inspired Hand is the gallery’s biennial contemporary craft exhibit presented in collaboration with the Maine Crafts Association.”

Auburn Public Library

“The Auburn Public Library has a large venue for local artists interested in exhibiting their work in a public space. The Androscoggin Room can display between 20 and 25, hanging ready pieces. We do not charge for using the space and artists may sell their work, though the Library will not sell or process payments on behalf of the artist. We are happy to display the work of artists who have never exhibited their work before as well as the work of experienced artists.
Recent exhibits have included: nature photographs, paintings by local art students and simple sculptures that were hung on the walls.”

“As part of my vision for the Salon, I have invited local friends/clients to display their talent on our wall in the salon. So far we have featured 4 different artists. Hair artists, thats what we are! It is inspiring to see other artists using their gifts and talent along side of us. We also have sidewalk music with local musicians in the warmer weather. I am eager to network with other fellow artists, I don’t want any commission and would request that the artist put his/her work up themselves at the designated area.”

“She Doesn’t Like Guthries is a locally owned and operated restaurant and music venue.
